Jennifer's practice is informed by the natural environment that surrounds her wherever she is: The Brisbane River ecology and Moreton Bay near her home have been a source of creativity for over twenty years. The Upper Hunter River region where she spent her formative years has also informed her creative process.
The work investigates place and time through layering of imagery and mark making. Some artworks are made using watercolour, ink and paint while others combine found materials such as sediment, charcoal, and resin to create unique site-specific pieces through painting, printmaking, drawing, artist's books and nature art installations. Jennifer seeks to evoke her experience of being in and connected to the natural world while mindful of its unique, ancient and fragile ecosystems.

Born in Muswellbrook NSW

Jennifer's artwork is exhibited locally and internationally and is held in significant public and private collections.

Eight Brisbane River paintings on copper panel were purchased by the Brisbane City Collection and exhibited in The River: A History of Brisbane at the Museum of Brisbane during 2013-16.

The State Library of Queensland has acquired several works for their Artists' Book Collection: The books are unique and contain drawings, paintings and prints.
